FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does Henna & Jagua last on skin?
Henna, dries faster, typically lasts on the skin 1 to 2 weeks, gradually fading as the skin naturally exfoliates. Jagua, dries very slowly, tends to last slightly longer, lasting about 2 to 4 weeks, before fading away. Both are temporary, still.
Is Henna & Jagua safe for all skin types?
Henna and Jagua are generally safe for all skin types, but allergic reactions can still
occur in rare cases. Henna is made from the Lawsonia plant and natural plant extracts
and oils, making it hypoallergenic for most people. Jagua, made from the Genipa
Americana fruit, is generally safe, but individuals with fruit allergies should exercise
caution. Individuals with skin sensitivities should do a patch test at least 24 hours prior
to service.
Do you offer custom designs or can I bring my own inspiration?
Inspiration is gladly received, but each design is intuitively freestyled, ensuring its
uniqueness. Copying designs is not practiced, as the essence lies in the spontaneous
creativity of each peace. This approach fosters authenticity and individuality, making
every creation truly special and tailored to each client.
What should I expect during a henna appointment?
During the first few minutes of your appointment, you can expect a quick consultation to
discuss the parameters and placement of the design. Then the intricate application
process will begin. You can expect the process to last between 30 minutes to an hour
for hand designs; timing will vary depending on coverage.
